First of all, what is a periodontist?
A periodontist is a dentist who has furthered his studies to increase his/her knowledge in non-surgical as well as surgical techniques involving implants, and the tissues around the teeth including the gums and bones of the jaw. With this knowledge, the key is to stop present disease, prevent further disease, and restore form, function and aesthetics that have been lost.

Dr. Goldberg is also a Diplomate of both the American Board of Periodontology and American Board of Dental Implantology. He is one of only a handful of practitioners with dual board certification.
